This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that after this matter was referred to the committee concerned, recommendation was made to give police protection to the petitioner. Pursuant to the recommendation of the District Committee, the respondent police have given police protection to the petitioner and her husband.
4. The petitioner namely, Rengammal is present before this Court today and submitted that she is given police protection as requested. Recording the above, this petition is closed as infructuous.
