This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to to call for the records of the impugned orders in "E1/16227/2020" dated 08.02.2021 of the 1st respondent and to quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondents to implement the Transmission Project namely "Udangudi Thermal Power Station-Ottapidaram Sub Station-400 KV Line" in the Original Route i.e., through the lands in Survey Nos.1366/2, 1367/2, 1364/3, 1363/1 and 1379 in the village of Aniyaparanallur, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2.The petitioner has challenged the order of the District Collector which was passed under Section 16 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885. 3.Pending writ petition, the respondents have assessed the loss caused to the petitioner's land and paid damages to the tune of Rs.2,67,000/- and the petitioner has received the same. After receipt of the same, the petitioner has also circulated a letter, dated Nil.01.2023, seeking permission to withdraw the petition.

4.Since the petitioner's prayer was considered and the petitioner had received the compensation, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
