O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, he is a senior citizen and there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5, thereby, he received life threat from them. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 25.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under enquiry and the enquiry will be completed and disposed of within a period of fifteen days.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.

5.According to the petitioner, he sought for police protection and thereby, he sent the representation, dated 26.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. The third respondent admitted the receipt of the petitioner's complaint and the same is under enquiry. 6.Therefore, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate action within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. 3/5

7.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
