ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to not to harass the petitioners under the guise of an enquiry based on the petitioners' representation, dated 13.03.2025.

2. According to the petitioners, there is a property dispute pending between the petitioners and the third respondent. The third respondent purchased the property from these petitioners in the year 2012 and thereafter, now the third respondent lodged a complaint against these petitioners before the second respondent alleging that there are some discrepancies in the extent of the property. Therefore, based on the above said complaint, now the second respondent called the petitioner frequently under the guise of enquiry. These petitioners also appeared twice before the second respondent. However, the second respondent frequently called the petitioners for the civil dispute and insisted the petitioners to pay money to the third respondent. Therefore, they 2/5

sent a representation, dated 13.03.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, they called the petitioners for enquiry and now the enquiry is pending and they will complete the enquiry within a week. They have not harassed the petitioners as alleged in this petition.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioners is to consider the representation and not to harass the petitioners and the second respondent also admitted that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, they called the petitioners for enquiry and the petitioners also appeared for enquiry and the same is pending and also the respondent police assured to complete the enquiry within a week, recording the above said submission of the second respondent, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
