R.SUBRAMANIAN,J AND N.SATHISH KUMAR,J The petitioner seeks production of the person of his minor daughter Saradhadevi, aged about 16 years.

2. According to the petitioner, his minor daughter was kidnapped by the third respondent, who is none other than the husband of the elder daughter of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that the detenue has eloped with the third respondent and the police have launched the search to trace the detenue and the third respondent. Already a case was registered under 'girl missing' and once the detenue and the third respondent are secured, proper alteration will made in the FIR.

4.Recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed since it is not a case of illegal detention. The jurisdiction police is directed to proceed with the investigation to its logical conclusion.
