ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to complete the 1/4

investigation and to file the final report in Crime No. 609/2019 on the file of the respondents police.

2.The petitioner is the complainant in Crime No.609 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 506(i) and now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of four years, investigation has not been completed and final report filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.609 of 2019 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks six months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.609 of 2019 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
