Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus, to directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation, dated 10.06.2015 and consequently, to direct the respondents to settle retirements benefits including leave salary, Gratuity, DCRG, commutation pension etc with interest at the rate of not less than 10% from the date when the same became due I.e., from 31.05.2009 till the date of actual payment to the petitioner, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.06.2015 and consequently, to direct the respondents to settle retirements benefits including leave salary, Gratuity, DCRG, commutation pension etc with interest at the rate of not less than 10% from the date when the same became due I.e., from 31.05.2009 till the date actual payment to the petitioner.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
