ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's dwelling house bearing Door No.1280/14, situated in Survey No.92, Muthu Nagar II, Kurunji Nagar, Vallani Village, Sivagangai District.
2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the property is situated in Natham poramboke land and, therefore, the service connection has not been provided.
3. The petitioner has produced property tax receipts, water tax receipts and other documents to show that he is residing in the said property.

4. The application submitted by the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the property is situated in Natham poramboke land.
5. In view of the above facts, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application. Upon such application being submitted, the respondents shall provide electricity service connection to the petitioner after obtaining an indemnity bond and an undertaking letter from the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of submission of the application. No costs.
