The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the third and fourth respondent/Tahsildar, Watrap Taluk in Virudhunagar District and the Head Surveyor of the said Tahsildar Office to survey the land in S.No.624/2, Kadaneri, Seelnayakkamnpatti, Muvaraivendran Village, Watrap Taluk, 2.Heard Mr.SM.Ramasiva, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4.
3.The petitioner had made an application for conducting survey and had also paid necessary charges. It is stated by the learned Counsel 2/5
for the petitioner that on two occasions, notices had been issued that the respondents would come over for conducting survey, but survey had not been done. Notice had also been directed to the fifth respondent and the name and address had been printed in the cause list. 4.A direction is issued to the third and fourth respondents to conduct survey after issuing notice to the fifth respondent/Theivendra, who residing at 5/499, Indra Colony, Kadaneri, Seelnayakkampatti, Watrap Taluk, Virudhunagar District and also to the petitioner and after getting any objections and if there are no objections, proceed to survey the land and if there are objections, reasons to be given, as to why the survey could not be conducted. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
