O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this criminal original petition, under Section 439(1)(b) Cr.P.C., seeking modification of condition No.2, imposed by the learned Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil, in his order dated 23.09.2016, in Crl.M.P.No.2944 of 2016, that they should stay at Madurai and sign before Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai, daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.

2. Heard Mr.P.M.Vishnu Varthanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.A.P.Balasubramani, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts that the petitioners 1 and 2 are age-old persons and the petitioners 3 to 6 are coolie

workers, this Court is inclined to modify the condition No.2 imposed by the learned Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil, in his order, dated 23.09.2016, in Crl.M.P.No.2944 of 2016, to the effect that the petitioners shall appear and sign before the respondent Police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.

4. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
