Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to draw the inter se seniority list of Revenue Assistants (allotted to Theni Revenue District) directly recruited through TNPSC for the year 2009, 2011 and 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 and the Revenue Assistants promoted for the year 2011, 2012, 2013 on the basis of the date of their appointment / joining in the cadre of Revenue Assistants and in the light of clause 9 of the Annexure IX of the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules and by considering our representation, dated 01.04.2015.

ORDER
The petitioners have come forward with this Writ Petition, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the officials respondents to draw the inter se seniority list of Revenue Assistants (allotted to Theni Revenue District) directly recruited through TNPSC for the year 2009, 2011 and 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 and the Revenue Assistants promoted for the year 2011, 2012, 2013 on the basis of the date of their appointment / joining in the cadre of Revenue Assistants and in the light of clause 9 of the Annexure IX of the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules by considering their representation, dated 01.04.2015.
2. Mr.D.Muruganandam, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that what is challenged is only a tentative list and the list is not approved so far. The submission is recorded.
4. For inter se seniority, following the Rule empowering 2:1 ratio promotion, the petitioners submitted representation, dated 1.4.2015 and the same is pending on date. On notice, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the list, which is impugned herein, is nothing but a tentative list and the final list is yet to be made. Therefore, the official respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 1.4.2015, while finalizing list, in the light of Rule empowering 2:1 ratio promotion and necessary orders be passed, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition, in respect of petitioners 1 to 7 is concerned, it is dismissed, as they are not pressing the same.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
