In Cr.No.986/2016 : Respondent/Complainant Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram District to expedite and complete the Trial in C.C.No.33 of 2017 within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

It is seen that charge sheet has been filed in the year 2017 and there are 8 accused in this case.

2. Therefore, this Court cannot issue direction to the Trial Court to complete the Trial in a time bound manner over looking the seniority as that will give room to complain from the Bar.

3. In such circumstances, this Court directs the Trial Court to expeditiously dispose of the case in C.C.No.33 of 2017 provided, the accused co-operate with the Trial Court by cross-examining the witnesses on the day, when they are examined in chief.

4. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
