ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members unnecessarily against law under the guise of enquiry and directing the first respondent to act in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent; On the false complaint given by the second respondent, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that a complaint was given by the second respondent before the Superintendent of Police, Madurai and the same was forwarded to the first respondent for enquiry in current paper no.51/Camp/GDP/SDOT/2020 and after conducting enquiry, the same was closed. Since there is a money dispute, both the parties have undertaken before the first respondent that they would approach the appropriate civil forum.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further order is necessary in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
