O R D E R

This is an application seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry relating to the case in Crime No.1193 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent has registered a case against the husband of the petitioner and seven others in Crime No.1193 of 2016, in which, he is arrayed as accused No.2 and under the guise of enquiry, the petitioner was called upon to the police station and thereby, harassed.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that while investigating the case filed against the husband of the petitioner, she was only called for enquiry and there was no harassment made against the petitioner by the second respondent.

5. Recording the above submissions of the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the second respondent is at liberty to conduct the enquiry but shall not harass the petitioner.
