..Respondents Prayer : This petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to initiate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2022 to ascertain the cause of death , nature and circumstances of death caused to the petitioner's daughter A.Jenilia , aged 18, on 17.03.2022 and submit a report to that effect before this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to initiate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2022 to ascertain the cause of death , nature and circumstances of death caused to the petitioner's daughter A.Jenilia,aged 18, on 17.03.2022 and submit a report to that effect before this Hon'ble Court.

2. On the complaint given by the petitioner on the death of her daughter in a suspicious manner, the Inspector of Police, Thenkarai Police Station, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District registered a case in Crime No.119 of 2022 for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C and the same is pending.

3. In view of the above, the Inspector of Police, Thenkarai Police Station, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District is directed to investigate the crime and complete the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to submit a fresh copy representation to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P (MD).No.6977 of 2022 the Inspector of Police, Thenkarai Police Station, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District forthwith and also co-operate for investigation.

4. With the above direction, the Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
