Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected to the election notification issued by the respondent No.3 dated 23.03.2022 and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to ensure that the election for the third respondent association is conducted with the participation of all its members in accordance with bylaws of the third respondent association.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. What is under challenge is the notification dated 23.03.2022 for Madurai District Cricket Association. It is not in dispute that the election was already held on 17.04.2022. Nothing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.6973 of 2022 and survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. This writ petition stands dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance regarding the manner in which the election was conducted, it is open to the petitioner to move the jurisdictional civil Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
