O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.15 of 2016 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the First Information Report, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.15 of 2016 expeditiously and either file a closure report or a charge sheet, as the case may be.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
