ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner has come up with a grievance that the respondents 5 to 7 took possession of the land abetting the water body "Muttikulam" and converted the same as plots. The petitioner therefore seeks appropriate direction to the revenue department to take action against the respondents 5 to 7.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. None appears on behalf of the respondents 5 to 7, inspite of printing their name in the cause list after service of notice. 3.We direct the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.07.2014, after issuing notice to the respondents 5 to 7. In case, it is found that respondents 5 to 7 are in unauthorised occupation of public property necessary action should be taken for removal of encroachment till its logical end. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the dated of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
