Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2022 and give permission and adequate police protection to conduct Music concert program on 13.04.2022, Pattimandram on 14.04.2022 and Adal Padal program on 15.04.2022 in connection with annual temple festival of Arulmigu Muthumariamman temple, Sakkampatti in Andipatti, Theni District.

The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2022 and give permission and adequate police protection to conduct Music concert program on 13.04.2022, Pattimandram on 14.04.2022 and Adal Padal program on 15.04.2022 in connection with annual temple festival of Arulmigu Muthumariamman temple, Sakkampatti in Andipatti, Theni District.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the rival parties are claiming right over the same temple with regard to conducting of festival of Arulmigu Muthumariamman temple, Sakkampatti in Andipatti, Theni District and therefore the Revenue Divisional Officer conducted peace committee meeting between the parties and resolved to conduct the festival by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
