ORDER

The petitioners had challenged the proceedings initiated under Section 107 CrPC in which they have been shown as 'A' party. 2/5

2. Notice has been issued on the ground that the acts of 'A' and 'B' parties were likely to cause breach of peace in the locality. The order requires the petitioners to show cause as to why they should not be ordered to execute a bond for keeping peace for a period of one year.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents submitted that thereafter there were no incidents reported apprehending breach of peace.

4. Since the one year period has elapsed, nothing survives in the above quash petition. However, this order will not preclude the authorities from taking fresh action as and when there is apprehension of breach of peace. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
