O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the flag pole which had been installed by the sixth respondent, according to the petitioner, in front of his residence at Door No.30, Keela Veethi, Ayyampettai, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur district.

2. Let me not enter into a detailed discussion. The learned Special Government Pleader has forwarded a letter addressed by the fourth respondent / Executive Officer, Ayyampetti Town Panchayat, Thanjavur District, to the Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk, in Na.Ka.No. 702/2022 A1 dated 28.11.2022 wherein, it had been stated that the said flag pole complained by the petitioner, should be removed.

3. I am confident that the second respondent would do the necessary needful and if required, shift that flag pole to any other place quite close by, but not straight in front of the house of the petitioner herein. No further orders are required. The said shifting of the flag pole 3/6

may be done within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
