ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "directing the respondents 1 and 2 to shift the electric pole and line distribution crossing over the petitioner's school namely M/s. Pachaiappa Memorial Nursery and Primary school, at Uppukottai, Bodinayakkanur taluk, Theni district."

2. The case of the petitioner is that an electricity line is crossing over the petitioner's school campus. Hence, the petitioner sent an application to the respondents to shift the said electricity line . Pursuant to the said application, the 2nd respondent, by communication, dated 30.08.2022 informed the petitioner that, for shifting the electricity line, the petitioner has to obtain no objection certificate from the private land owners. In response, the petitioner through his representation dated 10.10.2022, submitted his suggestions to the respondents for shifting the electricity line along an alternative route that does not pass through

private land. Since the same was not considered to date, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.10.2022 and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petitions stands disposed of. No costs.
