Today, Mr.N.Thalavai Jambunathan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Murappanadu Police Station, Thoothukudi District, is present in Court.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that summons have not been served on the accused and the case is posted to 13.10.2017.

3. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi Rural, is directed to ensure that summons in C.C.No.98 of 2016 are served on the accused for the hearing on 13.10.2017. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, is directed to expeditiously dispose of C.C.No.98 of 2016 after the appearance of the accused, if there is no other legal impediment.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
