This petition has been filed for a direction to direct the first and second respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on her representation dated 17.03.2023.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the FIR that was registered in Crime No.17 of 2023 was investigated and it was closed as mistake of fact on 25.02.2023. Thereafter, the complaint given by the petitioner seeking for police protection was also closed.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
