PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to issue a direction, directing the respondent herein to complete the investigation and to file the final report in connection with Crime No.180 of 2022, dt. 31.03.2022 for the alleged offences U/s. 379 of IPC on the file of the respondent herein within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to complete the investigation in crime No.180 of 2022 dated 31.03.2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the complaint was closed as mistake of fact on 04.11.2023 and report has been submitted before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.VI, Madurai.

3. The respondent police is directed to serve RCS notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
