ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in crime No. 23 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police seeking to quash the F.I.R.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioners herein have attacked the defacto complainant on 06.01.2026 with iron rod and wooden log and also alleged to have abused the defacto complainant.

3. In view of averments in the FIR, it is clear that a prima facie has been made out as against the petitioners for continuation of investigation.

4. In view of the above said facts, no legal grounds have been raised by the petitioners for quashing of F.I.R. There are no merits in the petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 10.03.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
