This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to redetermine the compensation amount for the acquired lands to extent 0.04.0 in survey number 756/3, to the extent 0.02.0 in survey number 740/1, Hec 0.53.0 in S.F.740/3, Hec 0.28.0 in S.F. 740/4, Hec 0.220 in S.F. 742/3 and Hec 0.04.5 in S.F 742/7 of Thanthoni Village, Karur Taluk, Karu District on the basis of the award passed by this Court in A.S.(MD). No.384 of 2005 as per section 28(A) of the Land Acquisition Act pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.
3. Seeking redetermination of the compensation for the lands that were acquired, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents. However, since the same was not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the compensation amount would be redetermined and disbursed within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to redetermine the compensation for the lands acquired in accordance with the Act and disburse the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
