Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent University to process and pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's application dated 16.10.2014 together with the rejoinder thereto dated 20.06.2015 for grant of affiliation to the petitioner's Arts and Science College from the academic year 2015 - 2016 onwards.

O R D E R

The Writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent University to process and pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's application dated 16.10.2014 together with the rejoinder thereto dated 20.06.2015 for grant of affiliation to the petitioner's Arts and Science College from the academic year 2015 - 2016 onwards.

2.By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing. 3.Pursuant to the order dated 22.04.2015 in M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2015 in W.P.(MD)No.6216 of 2015, G.O.(D)No.147 Higher Education (E1) Department, dated 17.06.2015 has been passed granting temporary minority status till 30.06.2015 subject to the out come of the Writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.6216 of 2015.

4.Mr.Ajmal Khan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent / University submitted that the interim order granted in the above said Writ petition has been extended by another 4 weeks and that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner made necessary application for affiliation. The learned Senior Counsel also submitted that the case of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent University. 6.In view of the interim order passed in M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2015 in W.P.(MD)No.6216 of 2015, the respondent/University shall consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders for granting affiliation in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, connected M.P.is closed.
