ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to complete the investigation pending in CSR No. 111/2023 by appointing an officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that an inquiry had already been conducted and the CSR was closed. However, the petitioner submitted that he had not received any inquiry notice or a copy of the report.

3. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the Jurisdictional Magistrate to obtain a copy of the report, and he is at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. 2/4
