O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner seeks removal of the encroachment made by the second respondent in Ward No.3, Block No.17, Survey No.1979, Srivilliputhur Municipality, Virudhunagar District. He had given a representation dated 27.06.2014, in this regard. But till date no action has been taken.

2. We therefore direct the first respondent to take action for removal of the encroachment if any, after due notice to the second respondent and other encroachers if any. The first respondent shall complete the process of removal of encroachment within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needles to state that the first respondent shall strictly adhere to due process of law, while effecting the removal.

3. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
