ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The petitioner seeks for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by him against the order of termination passed by the third respondent. 3.It is seen that the petitioner was terminated from service by an order dated 26.09.2013 passed by the third respondent. Aggrieved against the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 06.11.2013. It is contended that the said appeal preferred by the petitioner is still pending and not yet disposed of and therefore, it causes hardship to the petitioner. 4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner with regard to the punishment imposed on him, I only direct the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
