ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 323, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C., in Crime No.98 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the first petitioner/A1 had involved the chain snatching case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that during the festival celebrations, the occurrence had taken place. But on a reading of F.I.R., it is seen that the petitioners have attacked the defacto complainant out of previous motive. 4.In view of the bad antecedents of the first petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, in respect of the first petitioner/A1.

5.However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner Nos.2 and 3 /A2 and A4 with certain conditions. Accordingly, Petitioner Nos.2 and 3 / A2 and A4 are ordered to be released on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Peraiyur, Madurai District and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the Petitioner Nos.2 and 3/ A2 and A4 shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The Petitioner Nos.2 and 3/A2 and A4 shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

5.The Petitioner Nos.2 and 3/A2 and A4 shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
