The petitioners have filed the present petition for a direction to quash the FIR filed against the petitioners in Cr.No.2/2016 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Srirangam.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.2/2016 and chargesheet has been filed before the Additional Mahila Court, (Magestrial Level), Trichy, on 28.05.2016. Since the statement of the defacto complainant was recorded in Kannada language, the learned Magistrate has requested the police to give a translated copy of the same.
3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the translated copy has also been furnished on 20.06.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
