Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records in pursuant to the impugned order of detention made in Cr.M.P.No.44/2020, dated 25.05.2020 on the file of the District Collector and District Magistrate, Tiruchirapalli District, the second respondent herein, branding the detenu by name Ajay @ Mururgesan, age 31/2020, son of Selvaraj, as Bootlegger, who is now confined in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli, Tiruchirapalli District and quash the impugned order of detention and set him at liberty by producing him before this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in Cr.M.P.No.44/2020, dated 25.05.2020, by the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.3070, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI1) Department, dated 23.07.2020. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
