PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct survey and demarcate the land and fix boundaries of the property situated in S.No.1209/20 to an extent of 2.15 Ares (5.31 cents) situated in Punjaipugalu (North) Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct survey to be conducted based on his application dated 07.10.2024. The petitioner also avers in the affidavit that the officials attempted to survey the property on 19.02.2025. However, the said attempt was obstructed by the fourth respondent who according to the petitioner has no right in the petitioner's property. The petitioner has therefore, sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's application for survey with the assistance of the police officials.

2.I have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.
3.Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 07.10.2024, after considering the objections of the fourth respondent, if any. The said exercise shall be carried out in the presence of the second respondent police officials to avoid any breach of law and order situation at the time of survey. The said exercise shall be concluded within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
