Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to impound the passport of 1) Fredrick John, 2) R.John, 3) Flora John in view of the Criminal Case pending in Crime No.13 of 2015, for offences under Section 498 (A), 406, 506(i) IPC, within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the 1st respondent to impound the passports of 1) Fredrick John, 2) R.John and 3) Flora John in view of the Criminal Case pending in Crime No.13 of 2015, for offences under Section 498 (A), 406, 506 (i) IPC.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that divorce has been granted between the parties and the complainant is not interested to proceed with the matter further. Accordingly, the complaint given by the defacto complainant was also closed.
