For Petitioner : Mr.S.Deenadhayalan For Respondents : No appearance ****** COMMON ORDER The Writ Petitions have been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant Central Government Freedom Figher's Family Pension to the petitioners on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2015 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the materials on record. There is no representation for the respondents.

3. The petitioners are wives of the Freedom Fighters. According to them, the State Government in F.F.C.P.O. No.5337/2017 dated 02.04.1970 and F.F.C.P.O.No.5581 dated 24.12.1981 has granted State Government Freedom Fighter's pension. Thereafter, they had applied for Freedom Fighter's pension under Swathanthra Sainik Samman Pension Scheme of the Central Government. Though they had sent representations on 16.06.2015, the respondents have not passed any orders on their representations. The petitioners seek a limited prayer of early disposal of their representations made to the first and second respondents in accordance with law.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the representations of the petitioners dated 16.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
