2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

3. The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, to direct the third respondent to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground on basis of the representation dated 13.11.2017 which has been forwarded by the fourth respondent, to the third respondent, in furtherance to the death of her mother namely M.Vijayalakshmi, who was working as Anganwadi Servant StageI, at Edayapatti, Annavasal Union, Eluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

4. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, I direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.11.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
