Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct and complete the enquiry into the subdivision of the land in S.No.26/5 in Thoothai Village, Thiruppuvanm Taluk, Sivagangai District into S.No.26/5 and 26/13 and the assignment in favour of second respondent.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct and complete the enquiry with regard to the subdivision of the land in S.No.26/5 in Thoothai Village, Thiruppuvanm Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Spl.Govt.Pleader takes notice for the first respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 02.01.2015 is disposed of, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Spl.Govt.Pleader appearing for the first respondent was put no notice.

6. In view of the above limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 02.01.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, especially the second respondent herein, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of this order along with the appeal dated 02.01.2014 for proper follow up by the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
