ORDER

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition seeking a direction against the second respondent not to harass him under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has already lodged complaints before the second respondent Police and all of them have been enquired and closed. Now, yet another complaint has been lodged by the third respondent before the second respondent and once again, the petitioner has been summoned for enquiry.

3. Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for respondents 1 & 2 and would submit that they have received a petition in C.No.234/ACP/GR/TRC/2020, dated 13.06.2020 and for the enquiry in the said case, the petitioner was summoned. But the petitioner, without co-operating for the enquiry, has filed this petition.

4. In view of the rival submissions, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate with the enquiry pending on the file of the second respondent. The second respondent shall complete the investigation, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the second respondent shall not harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
