O R D E R

This petition is filed to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in C.C.No.96 of 2010 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy and quash the same, as against the petitioners.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 1st respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that in this case, already the trial has commenced and now, the case is posted for the evidence of PW2 and PW3, on 14.11.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the above fact, this court is not inclined to quash the charge in C.C.No.96 of 2010. Hence, this petition is dismissed. However, considering the pendency of the case from the year 2010, the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy, is directed to dispose of the case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or or before 31.03.2017. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
