Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to transfer the name in the patta from the petitioners mother namely Pappa to petitioners name in S. No.9/6C to an extent of 3550 Sq.ft., respectively situated at Pillaiyarpatti Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to transfer the name in the patta from the petitioners mother namely Pappa to petitioners name in S. No.9/6C to an extent of 3550 Sq.ft., respectively situated at Pillaiyarpatti Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2.Originally, the petitioner's mother is the owner of the property and the petitioner's mother has executed an unregistered Will, dated 29.11.2024 Thereafter, the petitioner's mother died on 07.01.2025 and the Will has come into effect. Based on the Will, the petitioner is claiming right over the property. 3.Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's claim in the light of the Will, the death certificate and the legal heir certificate and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
