PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to dispose the petitioner's Principal Petition dated 25.4.2023 with regard to issuance of separate patta in favour of the petitioner's Principal in Survey No. 2786/2 situated at Melagudalur North Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court and consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.2.2025. ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to issue a separate patta. The petitioner has made an application even as early as on 25.04.2023, for the said purpose he has also given a further representation on 20.02.2025.

2. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application for issuance of patta, on merits and in accordance with law, 2/4

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if necessary, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, as well as the private partyies. No costs.
