ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute pending between the parties in respect of execution of power of attorney deed and thereby, the third respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and based on the same, the second respondent frequently asked the petitioner to attend for enquiry. The petitioner also appeared for enquiry but inspite of that, they frequently called the petitioner for enquiry. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that there are two complaints lodged against the petitioner. Both the complaints are pending for enquiry and they will complete the enquiry and dispose of the same within a week. They have not harassed the petitioner as alleged by him.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court without even issuing notice to the third respondent inclined to dispose of this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, for the civil dispute, the second respondent harassed the petitioner by frequently calling him. The second respondent also admitted the complaints lodged against the petitioner and assured to complete the enquiry within one week. Since the second respondent denied the alleged harassment, recording the above said submission of the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a week from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
