The petitioner/Abdullah, President, Integrated Manapparai Taluk, Manavarai and Iravai Pasanatharkal, Farmers Association, Manapparai, came forward under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to register a criminal case, based on his complaint dated 05.01.2016.

2. Allegations pertains to certain alleged appointment of agents and he also alleged misappropriation of funds and corruption.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter requires a direction to the police to register a criminal case and investigate.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the police enquired the matter and it does not disclose any specific information as to any cognizable offence. Then, the matter has been referred to the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, for action from his angle. He has also produced the said letter.

5. In the circumstances, recording the above submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
