(Cause title is amended suo motu as per order dated 18.04.2022) Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to conduct election to the Board of trustees and consequently to conduct election to the post of Chairman to the Board of trustees of the temple Arulmigu Bathirakaliamman Temple situated at Chinnasuraikaipatti, Rajapalayam as per the scheme framed in O.A.No.27 of 1978, dated 09.07.1979 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 20.04.2021 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's representation will be disposed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD).No.7106 of 2022 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 also submits that though the order was passed by the first respondent, herein in R.P.No.1 of 2018 by directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders, it is submitted that since passing of the aforesaid order, the jurisdiction of the respondents 1 and 2 is shifted from Sivagangai to Madurai and from Sivagangai to Virudhunagar.

2. Recording the same, the cause title is suo motu amended to Madurai instead of Sivagangai and Virudhunagar instead of Sivagangai respectively. The first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2021 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
