Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner for cutting and removing the Andi trees Cashew Seed) which are situated in Sr.No.314/2A4, Vadakku Kavalakurichi Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Thirunelveli - District based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2016.

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner for cutting and removing the Andi trees Cashew Seed) which are situated in Sr.No.314/2A4, Vadakku Kavalakurichi Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Thirunelveli - District based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the second respondent agrees to give police protection based on the representation dated 25.07.2016 and the petitioner is ready to bear the costs.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the representation of the petitioner may be considered on merits.

5.Considering the submission made on either side, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.
