For Respondent : Mr.R.Erottychamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 182/2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of the Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.182 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were in illegal possession of 110 liter of illicit arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police strongly opposed this petition on the ground that the petitioner is having five previous cases, which are similar in nature.

CRL OP(MD)No.5672 of 2021 5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
