This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.86 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein, registered on 09.04.2016 for the offence punishable under Section 397 r/w 302 of I.P.C, to the third respondent and to ensure fair and free manner of investigation.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that in this case, investigation was transferred from the second respondent to District Crime Branch, Virudhunagar District and to that effect, he has filed the proceedings issued by the first respondent, dated 08.07.2016 and also the status-report from the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Virudhunagar District.

3.Since the matter was already transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Virudhunagar District, as per the direction of the first respondent, there is no need to pass orders in this direction petition.
