ORDER

The present application has been filed by the sole accused in Crime No.09 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction to the learned Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Tirunelveli, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender in connection with the Crime No.09 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police.

2.The petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No. 09 of 2026, wherein it is alleged that the petitioner has committed offences under Sections 296(b) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023, and Section 3(2)(va) of the SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015.

3. Considering the averments made in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Tirunelveli, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender in connection with the Crime No.09 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
